Ali Kahn

Ali is a professional actress who has always had a love and passion for comedy. Being a supply cover teacher since 2002, Ali used her natural wit and comedic ways to help bond and engage with students and found she fell in love with working with young people - which was the inspiration behind forming Big Comedy Shop.Over the years Ali has performed several stand up comedy gigs, comedy plays, and improvised comedy live in front of hundreds of people. She has also made several TV appearances. As well as running Big Comedy Shop’s Comedy Acting School, Ali is a facilitator delivering workshops on issues such as confidence building and motivation for young people  as well as adults. Ali is an educational consultant working with NQTs, teachers and youth workers how to build positive relationships with young people and how to use comedy in the classroom.  Ali is also booked for events as a host throughout the country entertaining the masses!In 2010 Ali started the agency AFM (Acting Funny Management) representing young child actors for professional acting work which she loves and is very happy to be giving students’ opportunities that she didn’t have when she was a child. Ali feels strongly that comedy is a powerful tool in building confidence and dealing with what life throws at you –Ali believes having a laugh whilst learning about life and yourself is the best way to learn!
