INTRODUCTION

Big Comedy Shop tutors have a vast experience in working with young people from all walks of life in and out of educational establishments. It is this history of experience that has led to us offering our carefully designed courses available to people who work with young people. Whether it is for an NQT residential or a refresher course for more established teachers, or a youth worker who needs assistance in public speaking we are here to help.

TEACHERS / NQT's

Big Comedy Shop provides practical facilitation to assist your NQT/teacher training programme. Bring Big Comedy Shop in to your next training session or INSET day and give your staff a practical innovative and fun training experience.

Our workshops are delivered by experienced teacher Ali Kahn who is also well recognised in the comedy and acting profession. Ali has worked with young people since 2001 within education and in outside school workshops, with youth services and many organisations.

What to expect...

Our training with comedy is designed to demonstrate practical exercises facilitated in the way they would be in the class room. Our training focuses on communication with students and is created to demonstrate practical methods of keeping learning fun for students.

Role-play is also used-giving your staff the opportunity to play out their experience in dealing with difficult situations.

YOUTH WORKERS

Big Comedy Shop can deliver a variety of tailor made training sessions for youth workers.

With years of experience working with young people, youth workers and youth services Big Comedy Shop facilitators have an insight into the challenges that come with being a youth worker.

Our sessions can focus on how to improve relationships with young people, to refresher courses in public speaking.
